Volunteers serve in every department of Samaritan House including administration, data management, food services, client service assistance, marketing and financial empowerment. We would not be able to fulfill our mission without the wonderful support of our dedicated volunteers.
Our core hours for volunteering are Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm. We have very limited weekend opportunities – check below for possibilities. We require a longer term commitment of at least 3 months service with us. We do not offer one-time opportunities, except for groups.
Volunteers can serve alone if they are 18 and older or between 16-18 years old with a signed parental permission slip. Volunteers between 12-16 years old can volunteer in some of our programs, but only if they are accompanied by a parent.
